Century 21 Colonial Serves Up Spaghetti For Children's Wish Foundation

I joined several other Charlottetown business people and politicians who volunteered their time on Wednesday October 7 to serve spaghetti at Piazza Joe's Italian Eatery for the Children's Wish Foundation of PEI.

The video below features a PEI child, Darcy, who's been granted his wish - a great story and a great guy!

For the cost of $10 guests were treated to a bowl of spaghetti, a drink, garlic bread and cake for dessert. There were 2 seatings as in the restaraunt business-turning the tables is key and with a bunch of amateur servers it actually ran quite smoothly with no plates being dropped or food sent back. Thanks to Joe Lisi and his staff at Piazza Joe's for all their support.

Many other business people volunteered their time such as Cory Gray Vice President of Vogue Optical, Mary McInnis from RBC, Dean MacMillan from KenMac Energy, PEI MLA Robert Mitchell MLA, and many others.

(To the right, some of us servers and Beth Corney Gauthier, Chapter Director, Children's Wish PEI.)

This is a fun fundraiser that raises money for the CWF's Wishmaker Parade of Wishes that will be held on the October 17/18 weekend in more than 100 communities across Canada.

Register for the Wishmaker walking fundraiser, or you can make a general donation to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
