Six Canadian offices in four provinces have snagged top spots in Easter Seals fundraising efforts by the entire international family of CENTURY 21 franchises.
With the $2.1 million raised by the real estate organization worldwide in 2009, the goal of raising $100 million in funds for Easter Seals - its sole philanthropic partner for 30 years - has been surpassed, and in no small part by the Canadian members of the CENTURY 21 family.
In fact, CENTURY 21 Canada System members raised $399,000 of the global $2.1 million!
Easter Seals Canada serves more than 100,000 people living with disabilities - the country's largest such provider of programs, services, leadership and development opportunities. Its most well-known program is the Easter Seals Kids to Camp program, which CENTURY 21 Canada supports.
Making the Top 21 list of CENTURY 21 international fundraisers for Easter Seals are:
#3 - CENTURY 21 Conexus Realty, Regina, Saskatchewan - $114,669 raised for Easter Seals
#4 - CENTURY 21 A.L.L. Stars Realty Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta - $82,247 raised
