My Son's iPhone App in Apple's TV Ads

My son, Justin Foster, and his co-author, Bob Durie, who created the "ColorChange" iPhone app have had some great news: Out of about 100,000 apps submitted, theirs is one of 9 apps chosen to appear on a series of Apple TV ads.

The ColorChange app lets you take a picture of a room with your iPhone, then choose to change the colour of the wall, floor etc. It does not change everything in the picture, just the part you want to change.

The app has come out with ColorChange 1.1 with zooming capability; see video here for an explanation.

So if you're at an open house, or a showing with your realtor, and you think a room looks drab (or too intense), you don't have to just imagine what the room might look like in a completely different colour. You can actually see it on your iPhone.

This app has also been well received by phone app reviewers, and also by realtors reading my blog on ActiveRain. So far, I've received 32 comments about the iPhone app accomplishment.

Bob Foster is a sales representative with Century 21 Lanthorn Real Estate Ltd. in Belleville, Ontario.
