Olympic Torch in North Vancouver

If you look really carefully at the first photo below, you can see the white Olympic torch being carried through Edgemont Village (one of the most sought-after real estate areas in North Vancouver BC).

Despite the rain, hundreds of people (including myself, my wife Heather and our two sons) came out to watch the torch make its way towards its final destination - BC Place in downtown Vancouver.

The Edgemont Village crowd was at least eight rows deep on either side of the street and, as you can see from the other photos here, it went for blocks!

Me and my son, Cole, clutching a Canadian flag.

My wife, Heather, and our second son, Callum, "eating" his Olympic flag!

Even though it was raining...it felt like the sunniest day! The Olympic spirit is so strong and contagious everywhere in Vancouver right now - being just one day away from the Opening Ceremonies!!
