Established in 1995, Lake Chaparral is a gorgeous community located at 22X and McLeod Trail - more broadly the Southeast quadrant of Calgary. The community itself has increased 25% in size from 2007, roughly from ~9,000 to ~11,000 residents (City of Calgary, 2012). Chaparral’s is located in ten-minutes from Shawnessy’s shopping amenities, restaurants and the popular public library.

For the commuters, there are several LRT stations in close to Chaparral. Shawnessy and Bridlewood stations are within a ten-minute drive of the community and boast a short 35-minute ride to Calgary’s downtown core.
