B-94, Rocky's Radio Station will be hosting the 8Th annual Turkey Drive on December 13, 2011. B94 will start accepting donations at 6:00 am and will run the drive till 6:00 pm.   The turkey drive began in Rocky Mountain House in 2004.  Our office has worked with the Lords Food Bank collecting donations and putting together baskets for the families in Rocky Mountain House for several years. In 2004 I had gone over to the food bank to drop off the food we had collected and asked how they were doing.  Dan, the Food bank representative, indicated that over 200 families were going to be without turkeys.  I immediately went back to our office and approached our team and said we have to try do something!  I decided on contacting B94 and letting them know the situation.  Our office sent out a challenge to all other business's in Rocky Mountain House to match our donation.  They were able to raise more than the 200 turkeys required and this fundraiser has been running for 8 years! The goal is to raise over $21,000 for 2011.
