St. Albert Real Estate Listings and Information

St. Albert

Alberta can trace its beginning back to missionary Father Albert Lacombe, who built a log chapel in the Sturgeon River Valley in 1861.  The Father Lacombe Chapel, which was used to minister to local Cree and Metis, has been completely restored to its original state and can be toured from June until September.  Those interested in learning more about the city's past can check out the Musee Heritage Museum which features exhibits on St. Albert's history and people.  The City of St. Albert is proud of its community and all that it has to offer.  With its picturesque landscape, outstanding parks and trails, state-of-the-art recreational facilities, robust arts and culture, community and countless amenities.  The Kinsmen Rainmaker Rodeo is a popular summertime event where both locals and visitors live it up and The International Children's Festival, which is held each May, is an enjoyable event for the entire family.  Shopping enthusiasts will love the St. Albert Outdoor Farmer's Market as it is a great spot to head for fresh produce, homemade treats and local arts and crafts.  St. Albert is located slightly northeast of Edmonton.
