Big White Ski Resort Opens Early For 2012-2013 Ski Season

That's right powder seekers you read the title correctly...Big White Ski Resort has officially opened for the 2012-2013 ski season! The original target launch date was December 1st but with a little help from Mother Nature the famous Okanagan powder snow fell early and in ample quantity. The Ridge Rocket, Plaza Chair and Laura's Gondola are all expected to open today. Current groomed runs include: Easy Out, Highway 33, Easy Street, Hummingbird ss well as Lower Perfections. Big White is offering 50% off lift passes, lessons and rentals for Thursday and Friday (November 29-30). Big White's sister resort Silverstar also opened today so be sure to take advantage of these two tremendous mountain resorts and as always drive safely!
