According to the Vancouver Sun:
Vancouver city council approved on Tuesday a modest 2.2-per-cent increase in its tax levy, breaking the $1-billion benchmark for its operating budget.
That increase will translate into a 4.2-per-cent property tax increase for homeowners and a tiny 0.2-per-cent increase for businesses
