Headingley is a rural municipality in Manitoba, Canada. It is located directly west of Winnipeg and the Trans-Canada Highway and the Assiniboine River run through the municipality. The portion located on the south bank of the Assiniboine River is known as Headingley South and the portion located on the north bank of the Assiniboine River is known as Headinley North. The town takes its name from the suburb of Headingley in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. Because of its proximity to Winnipeg, Headingley boasts big city amenities and services, yet provides residents with a slower paced, intimate community life. Hospitals, large shopping centers, and a wide range of professional services are a quick drive from Headingley.

Headingley is managed by the St. James-Assiniboia School Division. There is currently one schools within this community, Phoenix School (K-5) and there are many others in close proximity to the community (see schools in your area).
Headingley provides a multiplicity of recreational and cultural spots for residents and visitors alike. The recreational facility is The Headingley Community Centre which is used for community events, socials, weddings, business meetings, it has become the most recognized community centre in our region.
Thunder Rapids Fun Park, is one of Manitoba’s destination spots for summer fun. Go cart rides and mini golf are there to entertain your family for hours. The premier golf course is BreezyBend Country Club, a private beautifully manicured golf facility. Breezybend is also most famous for its fine dining, becoming one of Manitoba’s leading wedding facilities.
