Carleton Place, ON
Located at the crossroads of Hwy. 15 and Hwy. 7, midway between the Nation’s Capital of Ottawa and the town of heritage Perth, is the ever-growing community of Carleton Place.
At one time textile and lumber mills flourished in this small village. Once the home of Findlay Foundry, makers of cast iron cookware and woodstoves, this now bustling town’s remaining mill buildings house modern condominiums and ‘high-tech’ industry.
As you look further you will discover a community rich in culture. At the heart of this wonderful town is the winding Mississippi River. A source of inspiration for many of the town’s cultural events and the backdrop to varied downtown attractions. It is the home of Canada’s oldest active canoe club and many of the country’s most respected athletes have honed their skills here.
With a wealth of amenities so close at hand such as a local hospital, childcare, schools, community centre, shops and dining, Carleton Place has something to offer every family.
