Market is starting to even out

If you're a Seller thinking about selling - now might NOT be the right time lol

It appears that Jan, Feb, Mar and April were slower months than in the previous year. Not as hot as everyone thought or expected. The good news is that homes in great condition and good prices are still selling very quickly just not the crazy bidding wars of a year ago or even earlier this year.

Questions?

Call me anytime,...

Are Kitchens A Good Renovation Choice?

A NEW KITCHEN

A new kitchen is one of the best uses of your remodelling budget. However, before you buy into a designer’s concept of what you should have, think about and discuss the following issues. In the final analysis, you are the one who has to live with (and in) your new kitchen.

Are you a gourmet? Some people spend a lot of time in their kitchens preparing gourmet meals. If this is you, plan for plenty of counter space, extra electrical outlets and storage space.

Is defrosting meals your style? If you do not have the time or inclination to cook elaborate meals, then quick meals are your style. You will need plenty of pantry space to store all those packaged foods. Less surface area will be needed, but you will definitely need to find a place for the microwave oven!

Is the family still at home? Open kitchens are quite popular because they inviting for company. Family and friends are more apt to congregate around open kitchens. And they are more likely to help if the kitchen has a pass-through or, better yet, just a counter separating it from the dinette or family room. If the kids have moved out, you may need less space for socializing.

How big will it be? If your new kitchen will be much larger, you will probably include an eating space. If so, use a counter to separate the dinette from the kitchen. This way you will still have an open, inviting atmosphere, along with separate work and dining areas.
