Welcome to Ontario's playground!  The City of Kawartha Lakes is a beautiful region of lakes, rivers, and rolling countryside located just north of the GTA.  It is unique in many ways with its medley of interconnected villiages along the Trent Severn Waterway.  With a population of 74,561 and a land area of 3,059 square kilometers it is larger than the european country of Luxembourg with a 5th of its population.

The City of Kawartha Lakes has over 200 lakes and rivers for you to explore along with dozens of great towns, villiages, and communities, offering a wide variety of experiences and amenities.  Our largest center is the town of Lindsay with a population of over 20,000 and centrally located within a comfortable driving distance from all of our communities.  Other noteable villiages are Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls, Coboconk, Norland, Woodville, Oakwood, Little Britain, Kirkfield, Omemee, Dunsford, Bethany, Pontypool, and Kinmount.  All of these villages have many unique quailities, landscapes, populations, and experiences.  We would encourage to read the following blogs and discover for yourself "Ontario's Playground" the City of Kawartha Lakes!  We look forward to meeting you.

If you are living in or moving to the Kawartha Lakes, and are ready to continue or start working out, then I think you should know about this wonderful gem of a gym we have right here in Lindsay. When I first walked through the doors of Spectrum Centre for Creative Fitness, I have to admit, I was a little nervous.   Spectrum looked nothing like the gyms I had belonged to when I lived ... Om... I'm an active kind of gal, so one of the first things I did when I moved to Lindsay was to search out and find the best fitness facilities. The first place I joined was Spectrum Fitness which is found at the corner of Cambridge and Wellington Streets. I am still a member there, visiting 5 times a week for the gruelling torture I put myself through whilst I chase myself back into my youthful ... Read More...

Kitchens tend to be the focal point of our modern day home and as such home owners have changed the kitchens design to suit. In the past kitchens were a place where the cooking was done and the food was brought to a separate dining room where the guest would be served. In today’s homes we have the 'open concept kitchen' which brings the chef and cooking space into the living space creating a ... Read More...

When I read the email about “Fall Lead Gen Days” I knew nothing could be easier or more beneficial for my business than face to face client meetings. What I didn’t think possible was that I could be a winner as my office is located in the tiny town of Bobcaygeon, Ont. Needless to say, nothing shows a client that you really care about their interests like a face to face meeting. I ... Read More...
