Victoria Day

With the much-anticipated Victoria Day (or more commonly referred to as the 'May 2-4') long weekend creeping up on us, what better way to spend the holiday than at Forsythe Family Farms with friends and family? There is a plethora of activities taking place, including wagon rides through the Enchanted Forest, pedal karting, kite-flying and mazes (including the No Left Turn Maze, which will prove to be no walk in the park for the directionally-challenged). You can also visit the farmer's market for a nice selection of Ontario produce, homemade jams, summer sausages and fresh fruit pies. You'd be eating well and reducing your carbon footprint and supporting sustainable local food production. The farm is located at 10539 Kennedy Rd, north of Major MacKenzie Drive and is currently open Thursday to Sunday 9am to 5pm and will also be open Victoria Day Monday. For individuals 2 years of age and up, admission is $5 on Thursdays and Fridays and $7 weekends and holidays.

E Condos’ architecture is by Rosario Varacalli, the architect responsible for envisioning the transformation of the corner with two modern towers that befit the landmark status of the location. They will be built around a dynamic open public piazza that will unite the structures with the surrounding neighbourhood. Street level retail space and a lower level retail concourse will provide convenient access to daily essentials. The commercial area will be managed by partner RioCan.
