Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care
The Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, formerly the Chinese Community Nursing Home for Greater Toronto, came about when Dr. Joseph Wong who find difficulty in communicating for Chinese seniors within mainstream medical facilities. In 1987, Dr. Wong, spearheading the cause, gathered a group of Chinese Canadian friends to make the Yee Hong facilities for the aged.
Up to now, they have Yee Hong CentreScarborough McNicoll, Markham, Mississauga and Scarborough Finch.
