Conveniently Located along the 401 Corridor, midway between Kingston and Belleville, Napanee delivers the charm of a small town, while still being close enough to the conveniences of the city, making it ideal for commuters.
Rich in history, Napanee features many distinct and well preserved 18th and 19th century streetscapes in it's downtown area, while also offering newer subdivisions in the outer areas of town. There is something for every taste.
The Napanee River runs through downtown, and into the Bay of Quinte, providing fishing enthusiasts access to the Bay of Quinte for Walleye, Bass, Pike, and Perch. On the other side of the river is Conservation Park, a great location for a family picnic, or fishing from the boardwalk. The gazebo hosts many concerts throughout the summer.
Napanee offers a variety of eating establishments for every taste, from specialty coffee shops, to fast food, to family dining.
There are schools in town for all grade levels from Jr. Kindergarden to Grade 12. Elementary school is represented by both the Limestone Public School Board and the Algonquin Catholic School Board. Napanee District Secondary School is the regional high school, serving grades 9 though 12.
