Century21.ca › New Hamburg, ON
Nestled between Baden and Perth County, New Hamburg is within easy driving distance of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford. The Nith River flows through the town, and leads directly into the heart of the city where there lives a 50-foot waterwheel built in 1990, the largest operating waterwheel in North America.
There are a few Primary Schools in town but no high schools, instead teenagers are bussed to Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School near Baden.
The city of New Hamburg seems to love festivals hosting a variety of fairs such as “Canada’s Largest Mopar Show” (Mopar an acronym for “Mash On Pedal, Accelerate Rapidly”) as well as a Fall Fair, and Mennonite Relief Sale.
