East Bolton, which includes the hamlets of Bolton Centre and South Bolton, sits just north of Potton and south of Autoroute 10, and is the only municipality in this area containing some small lakes, which have drawn in numerous weekenders. Within easy reach, one finds numerous sporting venues, from Lake Memphremagog and ski hills (Owl’s Head and Jay Peak), to hiking trails and bicycle paths. Its terrain contains flat lands, rolling hills and mountainous areas, much of which are forested.
