Silverspring is a residential neighbourhood located in northeast Saskatoon. It is a suburban subdivision, composed mostly of low-density, single detached houses. The area is home to approximately 5,300 residents. Silverspring was established during the late 1980s and through the 1990s, on land formerly administered by the University of Saskatchewan. The majority of residential building construction was done after 1991.

Saskatoon Natural Grasslands (34 acres) - This area consists of preserved, uncultivated prairie grassland. Many types of plants, such as grasses, lichens, wildflowers and fungi can be found in this ecosystem. The Saskatoon Nature Society acts as the steward for this natural area.
