The Town of Watrous located roughly 80 km Southwest of the City of Humboldt via Guernsey on SK-668, 110 km southeast of Saskatoon and 175 km northwest of Regina.

The area is known for being the Land of the Healing Waters. Little Manitou Lake is one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world that also has minerals that work miracles on the body.  Watrous is also known for having the Million Dollar Mile, with Mainline Motors' and Centennial Ford's vehicles lining highway 2, what a display!

With a population of roughly 2000 people, there are alot of amenities available to residents.  Grocery stores, banks, post office, variety of shops, restaurants and places of worship to name a few.  Educational options include an elementary school, high School, and a branch of Carlton Trail Regional College.  Sports and recreation options include a swimming pool, hockey, curling, bowling, golf, mini golf, soccer and ball to mention a few. 

Down the road at Manitou there is the historic Danceland which is still in use, you can dance all night on a horse hair floor.  Also at Manitou beach there is a spa, B & B's, restaurant, coffee shop, a burger joint by the beach, tennis courts and Camp Easter Seal.
