Welcome to my website....the one and only place to visit for your Real Estate needs!

Rural Northumberland is where I grew up and therefore I have a vast knowledge of the area.  My husband and I get great pleasure from our small zoo of animals we live with, just north of Cobourg. My 2 sons have grown up and moved on. We are now part of the empty nester contingent.

I enjoy helping families, whether it's moving up, downsizing, or finding an alternate lifestyle once their families leave the nest. I really find pleasure in helping young people make the all important step onto the property ladder. It's a real sense of achievement to know they are homeowners instead of renters.

I prefer to call people friends instead of clients as I believe that a lasting relationship is formed when you enter their lives and homes in order to help them create their new adventure in life. So much information is shared in order to find a dream match. Client is far too clinical a word to apply to the people I have met. I have friends in all areas of Northumberland and many in far away lands.I don't mind how far I have to travel and how much time I need to spend. I would like to be your Realtor for life.

Professional Background

Prior to becoming a realtor, I managed a garden centre for many years. The last few years became mostly landscape design on homes  and busineses ranging from $200,000-$20,000,000. Large companies have annual budgets that must be spent and designs were changed frequently. I still enjoy gardening and design work. Prior to that I spent a few years working part-time and raising my sons. My initial job out of college was at Kraft (General Foods at the time) as a Chemical (food)  Engineering Technologist in the Research Lab.

Properties

The area that I cover has a large diversification of properties.

  • urban homes
  • condos
  • rural homes
  • farms
  • resorts
  • cottages
  • lots

By working with me you will be sure to find the perfect fit for your needs. Being raised in the country, I do have a preference for rural properties. My main goal is to work with you to find YOUR dream home.

Home Staging courses I have taken have given me the ability to prepare your home to show it's best features and therefore sell quicker and for more money.

    Professional Interests

I enjoy helping animals and people. I am very involved with dog shows at different events, dog training, and helping people when they are at their wit's end with a dog or puppy. I help out the Humane Society and Shelter of Hope in  making their groups more successful.

I also enjoy going to Brookside Youth Centre . My therapy dog and I visit with the youth and try to teach them what a companion animal is all about. Why you would want to treat them with kindness and what kind of dog would suit your needs. I find this very rewarding at times.

Legion Village is another place Titan and I visit on a weekly basis. The seniors are so happy to see us and have a short conversation with me. Many times they are left  without any family or friends to visit. A person with a dog makes them remember when they had a pet and reminisce about it. They are living for that moment...even alzheimer's people. Often  on Christmas Day, my husband and I visit the people who are left alone. It warms my heart to know that I am giving some enjoyment to a senior.
