Russell Lake West is one of the newer communities in HRM, and since construction began in 2006 is now home to 3200 residents. Russell Lake is centrally located near the Circumferential Highway in Dartmouth which is also exit 8 off the 111, at Mount Hope Avenue. Russell Lake is near all ammenties with the shops atMillstone Square, Dartmouth Crossing, Mic Mac Mall, easily accesible to both bridges to Halifax. Transit is easily accessible through the community and the link at Penhorn.
Russell Lake West offers a variety of detached two-storey homes, bungalows, townhouses, and custom-built homes. Many of the homes are R-2000 and Natural Gas is available in the area. Freshwater Trail, Lindenwood Terrace, Pachtree Hill, Cloverfield Terrace, are some of the streets in this community.
This Dartmouth community starts around 350,000 and goes to around 600,000. This community is a good place to get a bigger home at a better price than a one you may find on Halifax Peninsula.
