Get set to celebrate the country's 149th birthday on July 1st! Canada Day celebrations in the Niagara Region are some of the most popular events of the year. With fun activities for the whole family and spectacular fireworks displays, it's a great day to be Canadian!
In Jordan Village, Canada Day celebrations will take place at Charles Daley Park from 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. Families can enjoy face painting, birthday cake, balloon artists, live entertainment, fire trucks, bouncy castles and much more! Don't miss the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

The Niagara Falls' Canada Day celebration gets bigger and better every year. To kick things off, the Canada Day Parade begins at 11 a.m. from Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street and moves north on Victoria Avenue to Valley Way, ending at Ontario Avenue. Don't miss the Canada Day One World Music Concert in Queen Victoria Park which includes a parade, multicultural celebration with music, dance performances and a fireworks show. The Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebration was recently recognized by Festivals & Events Ontario as one of the Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario!
About half an hour north of the falls, in charming Niagara-on-the-Lake, is Fort George. Headquarters during the War of 1812 to the Centre Division of the British Army, Fort George is steeped in history and is the ideal place for a Canada Day celebration. The festivities begin with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. in Simcoe Park. There will also be a Rotary Club BBQ, Kiddie Militia and Drill, musical entertainment and an incredible fireworks display at 10 p.m.
