Maple Syrup Festival at Westfield Heritage Village
April 3 and 5 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
There is just one weekend left to enjoy one of Canada's most time-honoured and tasty traditions! Explore the making of maple syrup from the tree to table in three different time periods: the methods of Canada's First Nations, 19th century pioneers and modern times. Then enjoy hot-off-the-griddle pancakes smothered in sweet maple syrup.
Easter Festival at Springridge Farm
April 3 - 5, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Easter Festival activities include: an Easter Egg Hunt, "Peter Rabbit's Egg-cellent Easter Puppet Show", face painting, bunny ears to colour and wear, wagon ride and farm tour and access to The Fun Farm Yard. Pony rides are available for an additional $4 per ride. The Springridge Farm BBQ Barn is open for Easter Festival. Menu items include hotdogs, sausages, apple chips and the Little Farmer Lunch combo for kids. Admission for Easter Festival is $12 per person (ages 2-92).
Good Friday Road Race
April 3 at 8 a.m.
From the 1K Bunny Hop to a 5K or 10 miler…this is a great way to kick off the holiday weekend in Burlington. The first 900 runners in the 5K and 10 miler will receive a race branded running toque and all finishers will receive a medal. Find out how to register online at www.burlingtonrunners.com.

Easter Brunch at Royal Botanical Gardens
April 5 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Enjoy a walk through the gardens before settling in for a delicious Easter brunch.
