Real estate sales were up 2.7 per cent in this past June, over sales in June of 2012, based on figures just released by the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington.
- 1,367 properties changed hands, 1,126 of which were residential
- The average sale price was $397,374, up 8.5 per cent over the previous June
- Lower sales were reported in condominiums, falling by 1.3 per cent
"After a record-breaking month for sales in May, June settled into more of a normal pattern," said Ross Godsoe, CEO of RAHB. "While June sales were higher than last year at this time, they fell a little below the 10-year average for the month."
