What's with the Media?
Is it just me or do others notice the constant negative reporting when there is very little negative to report? for example: this morning on Global, a major anouncement that a Merel Lynch honsho is saying the Canadian Mortgage market is near collapse . . . just like the American mortgage market. They gave the guy about 20 seconds and cut him off before he could explain the differences between the two systems. Then they went on . . . throwing the 'we couldn't get any bank presidents to talk to us' in for good measure and hooked up with another fellow that they gave about 8 seconds. When asked if the Canadian Mortgage system could collapse like the American system he responded with a qualified yes . . . as best you could do in 8 seconds . . . and just before he got the qualifying 'positive' out so much for the interview. What's with that?
