Professional Background

I have owned and operated several small businesses in Yellowknife since 1996, including Javaroma Gourmet Coffee & Tea Ltd. (1996-2009) and Pathfinder Research and Communications Ltd. (1999 to present).

Personal Background

I grew up in Yellowknife and have lived here for the last thirty years, other than some time away to study at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.  Much of my family still resides in Yellowknife, and I am recently engaged to a wonderful woman.  My parents, longtime northerners, retired to Vancouver Island just a few years ago.

Personal Interests

I enjoy writing about all things Yellowknife on my blog, Above All, Yellowknife.  And, as do most longtime Northerners, I absolutely love the outdoors.
