Recently Don Lawby, the president of Century 21 Canada, put out a blogpost on buying a home throughout the festive period. He explained the benefits to home buyers on why you should be buying now. Don is a well spoken easy going guy and I am not going to change many things he said but just one thing.

The November 2009 housing market in Red Deer has been very similar to the October 2009 market, however the average sale price did slightly decrease. The $300,000-$350,000 price range was the most active price range for November with 32 sales. Year to date, the $250,000-$300,000 price range has been the most active price range. I am pleased to announce that the winner of the bonus Air Miles Draw for 1,000 Air Miles is Janet Rangen of Red Deer.
