July Red Deer MLS® Real Estate Numbers

Sales in July 2012 for Red Deer residential MLS® continue to out pace 2011, but cooled compared to June.  The Sales difference between July and June is not uncommon and nothing to be alarmed about.  Typically the busiest months for sales reported are May and June as many families plan their relocation and moving before school starts and during holiday months.

July Sales

The "peak" of the 2012 market appears to have been in April the trend for sales volume declining or slowing down is a normal seasonal trend.  There are occasional blips from the norm but this is pretty much normal.

The sales by price range shows changes in price or buying power in the market place.

2012 so far has seen far ore homes over the $500,000 sell on the Red Deer MLS® than 2011.  That is a good indicator of the strength of Red Deer real estate.  The chart below really displays the change in price and buying.
