Me, You and C21

Well its been an interesting month. This past month has been one of the most challenging months for me. My youngest son was in a quadding accident. Mike fought for his life for many many days and is now recovering. He will 'make it'. Mike has a broken leg in 2 spots, a broken arm and banged his head. After many surgeries, scans and xrays everything is healing and he should make a full recovery.  He is very lucky as we are as his family. The days he was in his coma made me appreciate him so much more and how much he brings to our life.

For you my clients I apologize, you hired me to be your realtor and I was not there for you. I know you all understand but I still feel bad for not being there to answer your questions. But I am back now and have a new energy. A family tradegy will do one of two things, either demoralize or energize you. This one energized me, my boy fought death and survived and one day will be 100% again. How can I not be 100%, how can I not go the extra effort for you and do everything in my power to sell your home.

With our Century 21 office I owe a great debt. In my absence I called my friend and fellow realtor Rod MacWhirter to look after my 'stuff'. Rod stepped in and did a great job. With us all being busy and doing our own 'stuff' having someone else's clients to look after is a daunting task especially in an emergency situation. Rod did great and I appreciate his efforts and work. Patrick (our owner) and his realtor wife De were also there with support and helped Rod during the busy times. These people will never know how much I appreciate what they did to help. The real estate business is a competive business, some people say dog eat dog. But the past few weeks showed me why I am with Century 21, we come together and help each other when we need help. We are there for the greater good of the client and want to make sure our clients are happy. Century 21 is a leader in our industry and our office is a leader in Central Alberta for that fact. Our office cares about each other and you. I am proud to be a part of it and greatful for all the help I have received.

So I have a lot to be thankful for. I thank God for Mike being ok. I thank Mike for being a fighter. I thank Rod, De and Patrick for looking after my clients. I thank all the other realtors in the office for their kind words and prayers through emails and text messages. And I thank my clients for understanding.

Have a great December, enjoy life, enjoy your family time and enjoy the upcoming hoilday time.
