Clive Alberta is a small friendly community that is a short 15 minutes from Lacombe Alberta, 30 minutes from Red Deer, and 10 - 15 minutes from the Joffre plant site.  You'll find it just off of highway 12.Very handy to other major amenities yet maintaining that small town atmosphere and community feel.

Village of Clive office and library

Aside from price being more affordable or yielding more house for your dollar than the City of Red Deer and Lacombe, there are many other benefits to living in the Village of Clive, Alberta.  The community has much to offer its residents.  A complaint some people have of small town living is "there's nothing to do".  Well You'd be wrong in Clive there are lots of facilities for people of all ages.

You'll find a restaurant, a grocery store, and be able to attend a Church or two of your choice, but for kids that's what stands out.  What is there for the kids to do?  Is this a community that is ideal to raise my family?  Well...

Public School

School is handy.  There is a Public School which is part of the Wolf Creek school division and serves 240(+/-) students annually in grades K thru 9.  The kind of community where the kids could walk to school or ride their bikes and go to school with friends for a few years.

After school there are lots of things for the kids to do to keep them busy and having fun.  You may be pleasantly surprised to find a Skate Board Park.

Clive Arena

A Ice Hockey Rink, Some Ball Fields

Athletic Park

and for the bigger kids (adults) you'll also find the local curling rink.

Clive Curling Rink

Be sure to check out the Town's website with a list of the many clubs and associations.  Whether you're looking for info on figure skating or 4H you'll probably find info there.  www.Clive.ca

The average sale price in Red Deer for 2012 versus 2011 is up by $21,436 Does this mean my house price has gone up? Not necessarily. In 2012, we had 21 sales in the $700,000+ price range compared to 11 in 2011. Our most active price range in 2012 was $250,0000-$300,000 with ... Read More...
