A resident of the Newmarket area for over 10 years, former Toronto resident of 15 years; Alexis feel fortunate to have raised her two children, Brandon 17 & Destiny 16, in a suburban area. Her two rough collies, Ace & Skyler play a role in their daily lives. When not serving clients, Alexis enjoys - traveling, wine tasting, photography, interior design, gardening, dancing and also actively competes on a co-ed open cheer leading team.
Alexis' dynamic success can be perhaps be best attributed to her sound appreciation of the active Toronto & GTA market, her creative marketing techniques, and her strong negotiation skills. Before choosing a career in real estate, she worked as a Family Mediator; backed by her Masters in Counselling in Psychology and post graduate studies and work in Family and Couple Marriage Counselling and Family Mediation. Her former position as a Family Mediator provided her with years of experience in assisting people in stressful situations. And although buying or selling a home is hopefully a happier venture, it can come with stress. To ensure a successful experience, Alexis utilizes her talent for guiding people through unfamiliar and emotional processes, as well as her skill and experience in understanding and explaining contracts, negotiating, working with attorneys, and remaining calm under pressure.
Alexis' decision to enter the field of real estate evolved from her life-long love of houses, interior decorating and remodeling-plus her desire to be part of a business that helps people achieve their goals: helping first time home buyers brings rewards.
