21 Step Plan to Buying a Home

  1. Meet with you to create a list of wants and needs.
  2. Discuss your buying power and direct you.
  3. Seek pre approval for financing.
  4. To preview what is currently on the market.
  5. Set up a search that automatically sends new list to you.
  6. Begin viewing properties.
  7. Select a property that meets your needs.
  8. Prepare a CMA on that property.
  9. Discuss what a fair offer would be.
  10. Write an offer.
  11. Present your offer to seller.
  12. Negotiate as needed.
  13. Forward paperwork to a Financial Institution or Mortgage Broker.
  14. Arrange for Home Inspection and or Review of Condo Documents.
  15. Accompany you at the Home Inspection or Review of Condo Doc.
  16. Confirm that all contingencies on sales contract are completed on time.
  17. Assist you with arranging interim financing if necessary.
  18. Send paperwork to a lawyer of your choosing.
  19. Arrange for a walk through on possession day.
  20. Attend the walk through to ensure the condition of the property.
  21. Hand over the keys to your new home.
