For the past several weeks, the bright lights at EPCOR have been overseeing the installation on both sides of the bridge, testing different colour schemes and patterns. Those lucky enough to pass by as the lights are tested get treated to sights like this:
The bridge will officially light, for the first time, up in a very special tribute to Canada as part of the fireworks extravaganza that starts at 11 pm on July 1. They would love to see what you see when the bridge lights up, so post your pics to Twitter or Facebook or Instagram using #lightthebridge to follow the conversation.
The web team is also working at the speed of light to get the website retrofitted to let you see where your lights are shining. That will be ready later this month and will be a great way of seeing how you helped get us, and our city, to this historic event.
