Things you need to do in every room - before put on the market

A good feeling of the room ( which means less turn off) give a bigger chance to get an offer ( and a better offer)

*Things you need to do in every room*

CARPET :

A Neutral colored carpet can enhance the flow of the house brighten up the room and prevents potential buyers from using it as a reason to offer you less. You will very possibly get your money back on this.

If your carpet is worn or outdated ? replace it. ( don't have to be expensive one, a neutral colored will suits most people)

If it’s just dirty, then clean it.

ODORS FREE

It might be pets, or cooking smells, or anything else, it is a major turn off for lots of people. Spray some air refresher if possible

CLEAN EVERY ROOM THOROUGHLY:

Create “ ready to move in “ look.

CLEAN/PAINT THE WALL

Finger-pinted, sticky, scratches, dents are a major turn-off for some people

If the color is purple, yellow, red, consider repaint them to neutral color, many people do not like live around strong colors

MAKE SURE LIGHT FEATURES ARE WORKING AND BRIGHT

Brighter is better. Enhance the flow of the room and room feels bigger. Make sure when the switch is turened on, the light works.

CLUSTER FREE

Remove clusters, extra decorations, extra furniture.

SMALL FIX IF NECESSARY

Door handles, noisy doors, leaking tap, anything potential buyer might touch or see easily.
