Real Estate in the Annapolis Valley is Hot!!! Properties are selling quickly; we actually have buyers that we cannot find homes for.  There are times that there are two or more offers coming in on the same property.  Hmmmm.... All the noise about the economy being slow sure has not affected our area.  There was a study done some years back wondering why, when the rest of Canada was in a recession, the Annapolis Valley was not.  The result was... because of our weather and life style.  I say it remains the same.  How lucky are we??

Another point to share is how important it is to use a professional, no matter what you are doing.  I like the phrase...Would you do your own root canal?...of course not, you would use a professional.  Well the same holds true when buying or selling your home, the biggest investment that most people make in a lifetime.  There are so many more reasons to use a professional than just the obvious.  Dentists are trained and taught the newest techniques to better serve you......well, so are REALTORS®!!  We know the latest programs in financing, the latest codes in building and where to refer you for professional advice. The lists goes on and on... So, if you are trying to sell your own home, think twice; properties listed with professionals are more likely to sell faster and at the highest possible value.
