May 3, 2010: World Vision's 30 Hour Famine
This past weekend, our son participated in World Vision's 30 Hour Famine with his graduating class from Central Kings High School in Cambridge, Nova Scotia. From 12 am Friday till 6 am Saturday, the students were to have nothing to eat or drink except water and gum. That's quite a challenge for teens.... especially an eighteen year old guy that seems hungry all the time as it is! I was very impressed that the whole group managed it and raised funds for a very worthwhile organization.
Congratulations Class of 2010! Way to go!
