October Happenings

October is a busy month in the Town of Kentville. From Oct. 5 to Oct. 25th you will see unique characters pop up all over the town in the form of Pumpkin People.  It is a sight to behold and carloads of people come from Canning, Wolfville, New Minas, Coldbrook to mention a few of the close ones, then you will see the Halifax, and South Shore people on the weekends to take their pictures of the amazing sights.

This year there is a new book written by Sandra Lightburn titled Pumpkin People. This book is for children 4 to 8 years old.

This month in Kentville the Town Council Elections took place with Mayor Dave Corkum being re-elected.  Many signs in the Town of Kentville certainly let you know there was an election taking place. On top of the Town's elections there was also the Federal Election, so signs were out for that in Kentville also.

The Annapolis Valley is always a happening place whether it be Windsor, Hantsport, Wolfville, New Minas, Kentville, Coldbrook, Cambridge, Waterville or Berwick. There are also outlying areas such as Sheffield Mills, Canning, Kingsport, Scots Bay, Baxter's Harbour, Halls Harbour, Harbourville to name a few communities that make sure things happen for people to attend throughout the year.

The Annapolis Valley keeps you busy and vibrant year round. Come live in a place that is alive with things for you to do!!
