The Olympic Flame is Coming to Kentville!
The Olympic Flame is Coming to Kentville November 20th at 1 pm. Show your Olympic spirit by lining the Torch route and cheering on the Torch Bearers as they carry the Olympic Flame through Kentville.
There are also celebrations in Wolfville. Community celebrations will begin at approximately 10:30 am with a Mikmaw ceremony of dancing and drumming that will serve as a blessing and a passing of the flame. There will be entertainment ranging from traditional to contempory, including Marys Islanders and La Baie en Joie and the Port Royal Pipes and Drums. The Olympic Flame is expected to arrive in Wolfville at 11:30 am.
The Olympic Flame will travel from Wolfville to New Minas to Kentville.
