A Holiday Tea fundraiser is being held for the Kentville Farmers Market...

When? This Sunday, December 4th from 1 to 4 pm

Where? Upstairs of the Town Hall Recreation Centre at 350 Main Street, Kentville

Cost? $15 ($3 for children under 10)

Price includes:

Homemade Desserts Buffett
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled cider, festive punch, and more
Free childcare with children's activities downstairs

Celebration Days in New Minas this weekend!

The banners for Celebration Days in New Minas went up last week! This annual event is two days this year, August 12th and 13th. This event is being held at Lockhart Ryan Park and begins at 6:30 p.m. today, Friday, and Saturday at noon. Events include a Gold Ball Drop, live music, and Fireworks, with lots of activities for the kid.

Street Fest: Free Concert in Kentville August 13th

On Saturday, August 13th 2011, Aberdeen Street in Downtown Kentville will be shut down for a street party! Visit Aberdeen Street between 2:30-10:30 this Saturday for a free concert, entertainment as well as food and beer vendors. The fun day is competed with fireworks at the end of the evening.

You can enjoy the following live bands:

2:30 - Beer in the Headlights
5:00 - Courtyard
7:00 - The Good Feelin' Band

Other entertainment includes:

mini golf
dance performances
magic show
bounce tents
