Flash Flood causes wet basements in Binbrook

The rain came down ferociously in Binbrook on July 22, 2012 around dinner time. Luckily I was at home and had the help of my neice and her boyfriend to help me with cleaning up my basement after the sump pump could not keep up with the intensity of the rainfall. The storm system just could not handle the amount of rain, causing many basements in my neighbourhood to be flooded. If this happened to you, these articles from the Hamilton Spectator are worth reading ... http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/767083--residents-hope-city-doesn-t-bail-on-flood-aid-program and http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/766599--more-than-100-homes-flooded-in-storm ... Both articles mentioned that residents with basement flooding damage can call the city’s hotline at 905-667-3157 to ask about their eligibility for a relief grant.

It is very necessary to restore things after natural disaster. I had also suffered a lot just because of water damage but thanks to our professionals those helped me to restore water damage. If you want flooded basement cleanup Columbus faster.... After the water extraction or water removal has been done the area will be treated with a mold enzyme called micro-ban disinfectant.
