Maureen fell in love with the Okanagan as a child. She vacationed here every summer after a three day pilgrimage from Saskatchewan. As a university student living in Calgary, she frequently visited the area, promising herself that she would make Kelowna her home one day. On the day that she married her husband at the Manteo overlooking Okanagan Lake, they vowed to cherish one another in sickness and in health... AND in the Okanagan! They promised to move to this amazing place at their first opportunity.
So, here they are, living the dream in Kelowna. They are raising their family in paradise.
After university, having graduated with a B.Admin, she fulfilled her lifelong ambition of working in the airline industry. For more than 10 years, she enjoyed her roles in in-flight as a flight attendant, trainer and manager. Her internal and external customer service was exceptional and she earned respect and esteem from her team.
After moving to Kelowna, the absence of a comparable position with an airline, gave her the opportunity to step out and work in a completely different field, one that she has held in esteem for many years. Maureen grew very fond of the real estate environment while building two consecutive homes of her own. Then, during her search for the perfect home in Kelowna, she became enamoured with the search and the process of it. It was obvious that real estate was, for her, a chance do something that she love!
