West London

West London stretches from the forks of the Thames in the east to Wonderland Road in the west. The small older neighbourhood of Blackfriars is perhaps the best known part of West London and backs onto the west bank of the Thames River. Blackfriars is known for the character of its older houses and its close proximity to both the downtown and the University of Western Ontario. West London also encompasses Cherry Hill, an area filled with large apartments and the Cherry Hill mall. The area attracts lots of seniors who choose to live here for easy living and close proximity to many of the essential services. The area is serviced by a network of parks including Labatts Park, West Lions Park, Empress Avenue Park, portions of McKillop Park and Kensington Park, as well as a number of other green spaces.

With the Thames River brodering West London, the area provides lots of scenic trails and green spaces.
