Most of the TV shows stereotype REALTORS. For example we are always seen hammering in lawn signs, hosting Open Houses and making deals.But of course there's more to the story than that. It takes time and money to market a property for sale.Verify all the information, prepare market analysis, stay in touch, update clients on regular bases and more. Some properties sell and we make a profit some we do not. 50% of all the commission goes to advertising and office expenses. I guess the only one who would know is a Realtor who did not make it ...

Most of the new Realtors leave business during the first 6 months. You have to have personality to be one and make it .Outgoing, positive,energetic,honest, those are only few values that you should have to be succesfull in this business.It is not easy , but I love it. Every day is different from the previous one, there are challenges, ups and downs-you deal with it as it goes. It is a definitely an interesting job.
