UBCO has a dedicated Tim Horton's webcam for students

A webcam has recently been set up at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus which allows students to check the Tim Horton’s lineup length and ultimately to help them avoid showing up late for class.  Students at UBCO say the coffee line sometimes stretches all the way around the building and into the library.

The live web feed has been appropriately dubbed the “TimCam”, and is available to students with smart phones or via the UBCO website. The camera’s footage has been deliberately set to low-resolution by design to avoid raising privacy concerns.
