Acreages, hobby farms and some great homes make Joe Rich a popular Kelowna neighbourhood for families who want to enjoy a more rural sense of living, yet be within easy reach of the city.
Situated to the east of the city centre, the Joe Rich neighbourhood spreads from east of, and including, Goudie Road, north of Mission Creek along Highway 33 up the mountain, though does not include Big White.

Although the neighbourhood of Joe Rich covers quite a large area, this is one of the least densely populated parts of Kelowna with a population of around 1,000 people. The reason for this is that Joe Rich consists of mainly large acreages and farms and obviously fewer properties means fewer people. What’s nice about this though, is the fact that Joe Rich has a small community feel about it, something which is becoming less common with the rapid growth of the city of Kelowna.
