A very special guest

We had a visit from a very special guest at our sales meetin gon Tuesday morning.  Noah, who is 10, is the Provincial Ambassitor for Easter Seals.  He came to speak to us to tell about the "Kids to Camp" program.  He brought with him a couple of his friends, Helene Caplice who is Resource Development Coordinator for Easter Seals and Chad, who is the Camp Director.

The Kids to Camp program is operated out of the Rotary Camp on Grand Lake and has been operational almost 50 years.  The Rotary Club in Fredericton maintains the buildings, and Easter Seals helps sponser the programs.  Chad says their goal is to provide a really amazing camp experience for their campers, with swimming, canoeing, archery, saling and so on.  It's just that their campers have a disability of some kind.  To watch the way Noah goes at things you quickly forget he is in a wheel chair.

I asked him what his favorite things to do at camp were and he quickly replied down hill and cross country skiing, and canoeing.  More "able bodied" kids should try to keep up with him!

Here's a picture of Noah with some of our staff.  Century21 has a relationship with Easter Seals in Canada and the US and our local office plans to work with the Provincial Easter Seals program to help with the "Kids to Camp" program.  Keep an eye out for us as we raise money for these very deserving kids.
