Just a reminder about this jolly Santa visiting us in Fort Erie this Sunday!

Santa Claus Parade
Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2 p.m.
Santa is making his way to town and organizers of the 41st Annual Fort Erie Santa Claus Parade are already busy planning to welcome him on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. Following the regularly travelled route starting at the Fort Erie Race Track, heading east on Catherine Street to Central Avenue, and working its way down to finish along Jarvis Street, the parade will once again entertain people of all ages. We are excited once again to be playing an integral role in this community event Barb Horning, Historic Bridgeburg Business Improvement Chair, said. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the sights and sounds of this years parade! The committee is actively promoting float registrants and seeking both parade sponsors and volunteers to assist. In addition to the parade line up which typically includes community floats, marching bands, fire trucks, mascots, and local dignitaries, the organizers are working towards having people entertained along the entire route and it promises to be fun for the whole family. We are looking to build upon the success of previous years; the parade is by the community, and for the community, and I invite anyone looking to participate to contact us. said parade committee member Councillor Stephen Passero, Mark it on your calendar, it's going to be a very fun afternoon. Anyone interested in getting involved with this year's parade are urged to contact Passero at: 905-871-9868 or spassero@forterie.on.ca, or Horning at: barbara.horning@gmail.com
