Here’s a look at what’s open and closed on the Civic holiday Monday.
Most government offices, including Niagara Falls city hall and Fort Erie town hall, as well as the Region, will be closed Monday. Libraries in Niagara Falls and Fort Erie will also be closed.
Niagara Region Transit and Niagara Specialized Transit will not operate Monday.
Canada Post offices will be closed Monday and mail won’t be picked up or delivered.
Garbage, recycling and organics will be collected as usual Monday. For residential waste and recycling drop-off depots, the Walker residential waste dropoff in Thorold will be closed on Monday while the Bridge St. dropoff in Fort Erie will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Most LCBO and Beer Stores will be open during normal business hours Monday.
All city pools and splash pads will be operating on schedule.
Canada One Factory Outlets will be open Monday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Niagara Square will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
