It gives me an extreme amount of pleasure in writing this short note of thanks to Ms. Barbara Whitney of Century 21.
I was introduced to Barbara at a social event that we were both were fortunate to be attending. After a brief introduction, to Barb, I knew that I needed to stay in contact with this person.
I have recently re entered Canada to make London my final destination to live. I have traveled extensively and have lived in many different Countries, in this world, to which I have acquired very specific tastes in accordance with my living standards. I am also an extremely busy man, in the Hospitality Industry, so did not have a great deal of time to procrastinate about things. However I do know exactly my taste and feel that over the years I do not need to substitute any of these.
I confided in Barb to sell a town house that I had purchased, when I arrived back in London, and she immediately knew why I was not happy in this house (as apposed to a home) and what I was looking for in a “home”. With her close guidance, my home sold very quickly and I found myself without a place to move. Barbara went into immediate action as she knew my dilemma and the fact that I was out of the country on Business at the time and had only 60 days to find a new home.
When I returned from my business trip, Barb called and said she had a house that she wanted me to look at. Barbara picked me up, and drove me to this house as I was very unfamiliar with this area of the city.
I walked in the front door and WOW…knew it was my home.
Talk about knowing your client… superb. I am now living in my new wonderful home and have had numerous compliments on it. I am definitely not shy about telling my story to my friends and to recommending Barb to them or any one else for that matter that I see is in need of a friend and a realtor.
In summation it is worth noting that the Brokerage Sector of this country needs more Barb Whitney’s selling homes and less people that are just selling houses.
